We are excited to have purchased a parcel of property that contains three (3) buildings located in the historic downtown district of Pomona, CA. We are currently meeting with an architect, a design professional, and contractors as we prepare to enter into the construction phase. The plan is to operate a food market to help address the food desert issues in Pomona. We plan to partner with local farmers to provide nutritional food and organic fruits and vegetables. Within the market we will operate a gelato, coffee, and sandwich shop. LHF will be building a Business Incubator, which is an entity that combines affordable workspace, strong community partnerships, and business advisory services to support local minority and women residents to launch businesses. The goal is to support and expedite business growth, graduate the entrepreneurs so that they can sustain their businesses on their own and create jobs within the community. Lastly, the third building will be used for counseling and tutoring services in addition to containing a kitchen that will have cooking classes for local residents. We will provide more details as the plans progress. We are grateful and thankful to operate out of Pomona in the near future.
